Guide to Origami
Follow the instructions below to create an Origami Boat!
Materials Needed:

A square piece of paper (Origami sheets make folding easiest!)

A flat surface for folding

Crayons and drawing utensils are optional for decoaration
Step 1
To make the starting fold, place the paper flat on the table. Fold it in half from top to bottom, forming a rectangle. Open it back up. You now have a central crease.
Step 2
Make the corner folds. Fold the top corners into the center line, forming a pointed top (like a hat).
Step 3
Create the bottom fold by folding the bottom of the paper up on both sides, aligning it with the bottom of the "hat" shape.
Step 4
To create the boat shape, flip the paper over. Fold the bottom up again in the same way, so it matches the other side.
Step 5
You are almost done! Pull the sides apart gently to reveal your boat shape.
Flatten the bottom of the boat by pressing it down on the table.
Step 6
Optional decoration! Decorate the boat using colorful markers or crayons if desired.
