Q-Tip Art
Follow the instructions below to create a painting using Q-tips.
Materials Needed:

A piece of paper
-
Non-toxic paint
-
Q-tips (one for each color)
-
Tray or palette for the paint
Step 1
To prep your paints, pour different colors of paint into separate sections of the tray or palette. Prepare one Q-tip for each paint color.
Step 2
Dip a Q-tip into the paint and practice making dots, lines, or squiggles on a scrap piece of paper. Try different movements and pressures to see the variety of marks that can be made.
Step 3
Create a background. It can be anything from simple shapes to more detailed landscapes or characters. Be creative!
